From a special limited edition off set prints, which were numbered and signed, as indicated by the word PLAKAT (lower right), the German word for poster.

The composition is characterized by a powerful vertical structure in luminous blue, framed by rhythmic rows of small white and pink elements. A blue field with pink and white horizon.The repeated vertical marks create a vibrating optical field that seems to pulse against the dark background, producing a striking sense of light, rhythm, and spatial depth. The contrast between the intense ultramarine blue and the surrounding darkness enhances the sensation of radiance—an effect closely associated with Mack’s lifelong exploration of light, movement, and perception.

Heinz Mack (b. 1931, Lollar, Germany) is a pioneering German artist and co-founder of the influential ZERO movement, alongside Otto Piene and Günther Uecker. His work explores light, movement, and space, often using reflective materials to create dynamic visual experiences.

Mack is internationally recognized for his kinetic and light-based artworks, including polished metal reliefs, light sculptures, and large-scale environmental installations. His iconic Sahara Project (1960s) placed reflective objects in the desert, transforming natural light into a primary artistic medium.
