This bold and witty work, a screenprint on canvas, by French artist Ben Vautier, is a striking example of his conceptual and language-based art. The piece is titled “Ich bin farbenblind” ("I am colorblind"), and features Vautier’s iconic handwritten script in three colors—red, blue, and black—ironically spelling out the phrase "Ich bin farbenblind" in German, despite the clear presence of color.
Hand-signed ‘Ben’ and numbered in felt-tip pen in the lower right corner.
This work is part of a limited edition of only 100,
