1996
This signed and inscribed Art Print by Marina Abramovic, is a striking visual exploration of mortality, purification, and the passage of time. At the right, Abramovic has signed the Aert Print " With Love Marina Abramovic " and included a small drawing of a talking head with handwritten inscription.
Professionally framed, in a custom-cut, thick acid-free passe-partout, in a high-quality, handcrafted wooden frame with PLEXIGLAS Optical HC, scratch-resistant and UV-protected. Framed approx. 105 x 85 cm
The image features Abramovic seated on a stool, washing a life-size human skeleton, with soapy water pooling at her feet. Abramovics body is partially obscured by the skeleton, creating an eerie visual alignment where life and death become inseparably intertwined. This Art Print was designed for the artists exhibition at the Kunsthallen Brandts Klaedefabrik, Denmark, 1996.
