Douglas Gordon (b. 1966) is a Turner Prize-winning Scottish artist, known for his video installations, conceptual photography, and text-based works that manipulate time and memory. His groundbreaking piece, "24 Hour Psycho" (1993), in which he slowed down Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film to an almost unrecognizable pace, cemented his reputation as a master of psychological manipulation in contemporary art.
