This rare signed exhibition poster was created for “Dialog - Passau 2002”, a significant exhibition by Günther Uecker, one of Germany’s most influential contemporary artists. Hand signed by Günther Uecker, on the image, lower right, in black felt-pen. Sheet size : 59.5 x 42 cm. The exhibition took place at the Museum Moderner Kunst and the Medienzentrum der Passauer Neuen Presse in Passau, Germany, 2002.

The featured artwork exemplifies Uecker’s distinctive artistic language, which merges sculpture, installation, and conceptual art. His work often incorporates nails, wood, fabric, and textural elements, exploring themes of tension, destruction, and healing. The installation in the poster presents a forest of sharpened wooden stakes wrapped in cloth and surrounded by cushions, creating a dialogue between hardness and softness, danger and protection, structure and chaos.  

Günther Uecker (b. 1930) is a leading figure in ZERO art, a post-war movement that sought to reinvent artistic expression through light, movement, and texture. His work is exhibited in the world’s most prestigious institutions, including the Guggenheim Museum, Centre Pompidou, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
