2023
An original screen print by the internationally acclaimed British artist David Shrigley.
Signed with the artist's initials (DS), dated 2023 and numbered on the verso.
Dominated by a large blue skull and crossbones painted in the artist's deliberately raw and expressive style, the image creates an immediate visual contradiction between its reassuring message and its unsettling imagery. The composition perfectly captures David Shrigley's unmistakable combination of dark humour, irony and social commentary.
Characterised by its playful yet provocative visual language, the print exemplifies why Shrigley has become one of the most influential contemporary British artists of his generation.
Sheet size: approx. 76 × 56 cm.
The work is offered unframed.
Handmade, custom framing is available upon request through our professional framing workshop, offering a wide range of styles, colors, and materials.
