2009

Hand-signed and dated Skateboard Deck by Kenny Scharf. A striking example of the artist’s signature pop-surrealist style. The board features a psychedelic pattern of radiating concentric circles in vivid colors—yellow, red, blue, and purple—culminating in a cheerful, cartoon-like red face at the center. It perfectly reflects Scharf’s playful and visually explosive universe.

The deck is hand-signed and dated (‘09) at the bottom and is professionally mounted in a custom shadow box frame, elevating the piece from a functional object to collectible wall art. Size framed approx. 100 x 40 cm

Kenny Scharf (b. 1958) is a renowned American artist who rose to fame in the 1980s New York art scene alongside contemporaries Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. He is best known for his whimsical, colorful works influenced by cartoons, graffiti, science fiction, and pop culture.

Scharf’s art blends social commentary with playful imagery, creating works that are both accessible and visually bold. His unmistakable aesthetic celebrates imagination, satire, and spontaneity. His pieces are held in major public collections including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Whitney Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
